Women in Philanthropy Event at The Curve Theatre

Women in Philanthropy is a network of women building a sustainable fund with the goal of improving local life by helping small, often unknown charities across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.

Women in Philanthropy chooses three different charities to support each year, all doing essential work to keep the city and counties healthy, safe and thriving. As a membership group, all Women in Philanthropy membership money goes to support these charities, with half invested to provide a future income and the rest going straight to them at the end of the year.

In 2019 Out of Hours Club Rutland was one of the

chosen charities to receive support and funding.

During 2019 Out of Hours Club Rutland participated in several presentations and events with the final event ending with a film premiered at the Curve Theatre Leicester along with a question and answer session that Jacqui (Founder and Secretary and Sophie Gray (Leader) participated in supported by some of the other leaders - Please see below.

Go-Karting for Our 5th Anniversary

What a fantastic night our members and leaders have had go-karting.

Driving a car is something that many of our members will never be able to do but at this event

they were able to experience what it is like in charge of their own vehicles.

Well done everyone - you have once again proved that you can do something that others have said

you would not be able to do thanks to funding from Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation.

We just had to end our exciting night go-karting with food
